En tu archivo "error_log", accesible desde tu cPanel, Administrador de Archivos, carpeta /public_html revisas dicho archivo, localizas las líneas indicadas y las pegas aquí.

Te sugiero te instales Firebug en el navegador Firefox, esto te ayudará a encontrar los errores.

Ocurre que no solo son los menús principales, veo que al ir a publicar una noticia llego a la parte de publicación, pero al intentar por ejemplo seleccionar una noticia y dar a editar, me reporta que no se puede, que selecciones un articulo para editarlo, pero realmente esta marcado.

Si doy a publicar uno nuevo tampoco hace nada.

Solo va hacia delante y hacia atrás con las flechas del navegador, el resto de opciones entras y no avanzan ni ejecutan su función.
Si que poniendo la ruta del componente por ejemplo en el explorador llegas a el, pero no puedes desplegar la lista del menú para seleccionar y entrar. Luego dentro tampoco responde todo.

He descargado la aplicación que me has comentado, visto el tutorial, pero claro es complicado para mi saber que código es bueno, malo o defectuoso, no conozco tanto. he podido llegar al desplegable de menús y aparentemente están con sus enlaces y sus rutas correctas para ser abiertos cuando les ejecuto, pero luego nada no inicia.

No se si alguna cosa mas puedo ir mirando.

Hay algunos archivos que debes revisar y si están afectados por tu infección anterior, eliminarlos o sustituirlos por archivos limpios de un Pack Joomla 1.5.26 "nuevo".

Contenido solo visible a usuarios registrados

Despues de esto seria bueno que hicieses una copia de seguridad con Akeeba Backup o XCloner y tras descargarla a tu PC, subir un .zip de Joomla 1.5.26 "limpio" y extraerlo en /public_html para que sobrescriba los archivos de tu actual instalación y corrija posibles problemas.
