Hola federico,

No es fácil recomendarte una plantilla específica ya que dependerá mucho de la extensión que utilices para gestionar las fichas de "modelos" pues puedes escoger una plantilla "muy bonita y llamativa" y luego usar un componente para gestionar portfolios de modelos que no se adapte y acabe destrozando la estética de la plantilla.

perfecto, pero maso que me recomiendes 2 o 3 para joomla 2.5 a tu gusto, ya que si no me pierde mucho con todos esos enlaces, necesito algo mas practico, que sean 2 o 3 no importa si son pagas, asi las miro un poco. puede ser?

Tal como te comentaba Luis, la elección de una plantilla para crear una nueva web es algo subjetivo: lo que a mi me puede parecer una buena elección no tiene por qué serlo para ti y viceversa. Esto entra completamente en los gustos de cada uno.

Una cosa que sí sería recomendable es que la plantilla elegida sea de tipo Responsive, ya que de esta forma se adaptará a todo tipo de dispositivos, incluidos tablets y teléfonos móviles. Siguiendo este criterio podrías revisar las que Luis te ha recomendado dentro del apartado Plantillas gratuitas para Joomla! 2.5 "Responsive".

Otra opción, si te planteas pagar por una plantilla, sería que revisaras alguna página como la siguiente:
